What You’ll Do, See, and Eat

Chinatown:

Immigrant history and exotic eats abound on an amazing cultural expedition through this bustling Lower Manhattan neighborhood. Irish, Jewish, and Italian settlers were the original occupants of the area before it became Chinatown, and this overlapping experience is a reflection of what makes New Yorkers who we are today. We share their tales, traditions and tastes with our visitors during this incredible food tour. Your senses will be in high gear as your expert New York City guide navigates you through the back alleyways and sidewalk markets of Canal and Mott Streets, taking you inside places only true locals are wise to. NYC’s Chinatown is as complex as it is diverse, and we know all of its secrets. From dumplings to dim sum, banh mi to ice cream, you will be sure to have the authentic culinary experience of a lifetime.

After enjoying a lunch like no other, you will migrate into New York’s historic core.

Historic Downtown:

Before this area of Lower Manhattan became a global center of finance and commerce, it was the very spot where NYC was founded by Dutch settlers as a trading post in 1624. It later became a British territory, setting the stage for the colonial revolution that shaped not only New York City, but the United States of America. You will learn all about this important history and its continued evolution, including post 9/11 life, on our fascinating walking tour. There are no wolves on Wall Street, but there is one very famous bull that you will get to see, along with the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, Trinity Church, and many other treasured landmarks.
