More Details
Our Greenwich Village food tour departs daily at 12:30 PM, rain or shine, and lasts approx 2 hours. The food is plentiful – enough for a full lunch – and you will enjoy the best eats New York City has to offer. You can do this NYC food tour and still have plenty of time to explore numerous New York landmarks in the surrounding neighborhoods.
In addition to this tour, we offer guided tours of 2 nearby areas that pair well with Greenwich Village at a substantial discount. It is seamless and your guide travels with you from one tour to the other. We have two Double Combos they last about 3.5 hours. Choose to add in the High Line, or Historic Downtown either before or after your food tour. Want to do them all? Our Triple Combo tour includes all three – High Line, Greenwich Village and Historic Downtown.
Also convenient to your Greenwich Village tour are SOHO, Hudson Yards, Chelsea, the Meatpacking District and the East Village. There are great things to do on your way to the tour, and even more after. Of course there is a lot of food on our Manhattan food tours of Greenwich Village, so a stroll through another neighborhood is just what you need to work up an appetite and/or walk it all off.
For those of you who want to discover New York City landmarks on your own, here is a list that works well with your Greenwich Village food tour.
- Wander through Chelsea Market in the old Meatpacking Packing District on your way to our NYC food tour.
- Go for a morning stroll on The High Line, then take in an exhibit at the Whitney Museum before eating your way through Greenwich Village on NYC’s best food tour.
- Explore Hudson Yards, a modern architectural wonderland with a 7 story shopping mall.
- After the Greenwich Village tour, you are just a stone’s throw from the world-class shopping and art galleries of historic SOHO.
- Washington Square Park, in the heart of NYU, is a must see. Make sure to snap a pic looking down 5th Ave from under the iconic arch for a great view of the Empire State Building.
- Take a peek inside one of NYC’s most interesting historic buildings, the castle-like Jefferson Market Library, once a courthouse and womens prison.
- Head into the East Village, “the epicenter of cool,” to experience famed New York City street art, vintage shops and music clubs.
